My entry into the world of IT was in 2005 when I had a laptop that got spyware on it. After that, I began building computers and learning about how they work. In 2010 I became a CompTIA A+ certified technician.
I then began an internship in 2011 at a computer repair store as a Computer Support Technician while going to school at Milwaukee Area Technical College for an IT Computer Support Specialist Associates degree. After getting this degree, I worked part-time for a company called Better Than Books (formerly Roninware) as a Computer Technician. All this knowledge led up to my position at Access HealthNet as an IT Support Technician.
I left the IT industry after my time at Access HealthNet, but I haven’t stopped working with computers. Instead of focusing solely on computer hardware, I’ve started working with WordPress to build an online presence. I created this website in 2017 and actively kept it updated through 2019. In February 2022, I bought a domain on WordPress.com called nathangoc.com. I’m planning on making that website about my creativity, interests, and thoughts.
